Jamie Simone steps down as WPB Program Director

WPB's (SSA#33) program director Jamie R. Simone, announced her departure from the post that she has held since the organization began staffing four years ago. She leaves as of April 1.

"It was not an easy decision," said Simone. "I really love my job but I love my daughter Lucy even more. I had a job offer that I could not refuse because it gives me an opportunity to be at home more." She is returning part-time to her former employer Farr Associates.

This opportunity gives Simone the best of both worlds, one where she spends more time with her daughter and the other where she continues to be involved in her career. "I plan to stay involved with the WPB as a resident of the area.  I want to see the results our years of great leadership spearheaded continue going forward. "
