Sweet success proclaimed at the Pastry Market in the Logan Square Kitchen

Tasty to the eye and palate these confections are from Flour, a cake and pastry boutique.

With a 10 a.m. opening Pastry Market in the Logan Square Kitchen the day before Valentines Day, all the vendors were sold out by 12:30 according to Tinycakes’ Stephanie Merello.

At one point Zina Murray, Logan Square Kitchen owner, was regulating entrance at the front door to avoid exceeding fire regulations.

To meet the unexpected heavy demand, beaters were beating and ovens were baking in the kitchens, Eager shoppers lined up to buy tasty treats right off the baking sheets and out of the pans.

During a meeting later this week of the vendors and Murray, they will review the event and lay plans to have additional markets this year.
