Community Alert: Wanted for Attempted Child Luring in Logan Square 14th District - Shakespeare Station

Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy

A female juvenile was walking east on the 3100 West block of Belden in the 14th District's Logan Square area on Feb. 19 at approximately 5:10 p.m. A white male, parked in a gray, 4-door sedan said to the victim, "Come inside, I'll take you home". 

The victim opened the front passenger door and her mother yelled at her, at which time she closed the door. The offender left the scene in an unknown direction. 

About the Offender
The offender was described as a male white, with straight, red hair and fair complexion. No further description was observed. The offender was driving a gray, 4 door sedan, unknown make and model.

  • Call 911 to report any suspicious persons or activity
  • Walk in pairs
  • Don't talk to strangers or approach strange vehicles
  • Be aware of your surroundings and travel in well lit and populated areas
