Re: Multi-tasking

Dear Mr. Trump,

As a successful businessman (and by that I mean you haven’t been sent to jail yet) you know the best employees and organizations are those that are adept at multi-tasking. As the head of an organization that, 6 months in, can’t seem to handle even a single undertaking may I give you an example of someone who fulfilled 3 separate tasks, all with just a single stroke.

Late last night Senator John McCain (R-AZ) caste a ‘no’ vote on the floor of the Senate in regards to the ‘skinny’ repeal of the ACA, aka, Obamacare. With that single stroke Sen McCain was able to:

(1) Provide political cover for the 7 or so fellow Republican Senators who personally blanched at a bill that would throw 16 million people off the health insurance rolls but still wanted to appeal to their libertarian, Ayn Randian, cult of selfishness (but I repeat myself!) base. It only took a single vote to tip the balance and McCain took the hit.

(2) Be the maverick!

(3) Stick it to the man (um that would be you) who said “He’s not a war hero, he was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” and “I think John McCain’s done very little for the veterans.”

So you may want to give Senator McCain a call and find out the secret to mastering this prowess. Perhaps he could set up a PowerPoint for you and your staff. On second thought, maybe not – he’s probably not taking calls from the White House.
