June 30 is when the new city sticker should be on your car. So if you have not ordered it yet, you still have time to visit the 26th, 32nd or 35th ward offices Thursday or Friday instead of heading downtown.

Not only is our area brimming over with exciting activities and news, but Chef Susan Goss and her wine expert husband from the West Town Tavern have started their column on food and recipes! Better yet, they are encouraging you to visit our local farmers markets.

Later this week the first Movies in the Parks begin for the summer.

To prepare you for the upcoming Green Music Fest next weekend and all the festivals to come, check out Anne Halliday's account of Do Division.

If doggie stuff makes you smile, then do check out "This little piggy went to market."

You can give your dad a special honor by sending us a story about him with or without a picture and we will put him in the news!

If you are not on our email blast to get an email with the latest Our Urban Times stories at least once a week, enter your email in the box under "Get Email Updates."
