A night of Trivia sponsored by the  Commercial Park Advisory Council (CPAC) brought out 60 people for an evening of friends and fund raising at Roots Handmade Pizza, 1924 W. Chicago Ave.

Boo Palooza wasn't just for two legged kids, many a four-legged kid got to dress up for an afternoon in Wicker Park too. In fact, they had their own costume contest.

A pumpkin patch, needle in the haystack, apples on a string, decorating pumpkins, bobbing for apples, making halloweeny thingees, face painting, learning to play chess, learning about healthy eating, getting photographed, playing ghost bingo,

"What happened to the boy on the tricycle? His little legs were going like crazy." " Did he make it? Is he ok?" "What happened to the boy on the three wheeler?"

In a tiny Chicago storefront theater on North Broadway named National Pastime Theater in January 1997, husband and wife team Jeff Jenkins, formerly with Ringling Bros.

"This is so much fun" were the repeated words of the participants in the First Annual Like Bike Ride/Walk and Celebration Sunday morning.

Tabula Rasa's Second Annual Family Fun Run participants stepped off in Wicker Park on Saturday with their eye on providing more successful services to and ultimately having a transitional living center for juveniles released from Illinois prisons.

You might have guessed that the last day of Wicker Park Fest on Sunday would've been slower than Saturday, but you'd be wrong!

"The June Wicker Mic event in Wicker Park was the most successful event we have had so far," said Nate Tubbs from Church in the City who co-chairs the series with John Shirk from Urban Encounters. "We had the most performers, twenty-six, and the biggest audience, about 150."
