Community Challenge: Aid fulfilling 2012 activities plan for Wicker Park

During an 80-minute special Wicker Park Advisory Council (WPAC) meeting, 20 participants set a 2012 activities plan. The challenge is to finalize the plans and line up funding and volunteers.

You regain that hour lost last spring when we leaped forward one hour. Now at 2 a.m., Nov. 6 we get it back.

As long as you change your clock, you won't miss the 2:30 p.m. start to Blue Ribbon March at 937 N. Wood St. Police Station. The event is to voice opposition to the Mayor's proposed closing of the Wood Street Station.

Everyone, regardless of age, and even pets are invited to attend and bring your own signs and wear navy blue ribbons.
