Holiday festivities are starting

You regain that hour lost last spring when we leaped forward one hour. Now at 2 a.m., Nov. 6 we get it back.

As long as you change your clock, you won't miss the 2:30 p.m. start to Blue Ribbon March at 937 N. Wood St. Police Station. The event is to voice opposition to the Mayor's proposed closing of the Wood Street Station.

Everyone, regardless of age, and even pets are invited to attend and bring your own signs and wear navy blue ribbons.

Games, contests and entertainment for all human and canine aged Halloween revelers will be happening at a palooza of all paloozas...Boo Palooza in Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen, Sat. Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The First Annual Like Bike Ride and Celebration starts Sun., Sept. 18, in the Bucktown and Wicker Park Library parking lot at 1701 N. Milwaukee Ave. at 9:30 a.m. With lots of fun planned for the secured ride/walk up Milwaukee Ave.
