The Artwork of Valeriy and Marita Vaskov at the Ukrainian National Museum Exhibit closes on Sept. 29.

A collaboration of art and marriage - Valeriy and Marita Vaskov, two talented artists currently living and working in Lisbon, Portugal, the exhibit contains vivid and stunning paintings. Their paintings display their love for the intensity of beauty and color which they share in their united world. Exhibit continues through Sept. 29.

Marita believes that classical allegory and creative aspiration embody the power of art. Valeriy has said of his wife, “Creativity flows when your wife, your partner, is doing everything possible to ensure that the creativity in your life is the source of your independence.”

Both artists are featured in “The Golden Book of Portuguese Contemporary Artists”.

The Ukrainian National Museum, 2249 West Superior St., is open: Thurs. through Sun., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission: Adults $5.00, Children under 12 - Free.
