Ukrainian National Museum "Apostle of Peace" Exhibit closes today

If you haven't seen the exhibit "Apostle of Peace" yet, August 20th is your last opportunity. The exhibit celebrates the 150th anniversary of Metropolitan (Archbishop) Andrey Sheptytsky's birth.

It honors Sheptytsky's contributions to the Roman Catholic and Ukrainian Greek Catholic Churches, his philanthropic accomplishments for youth and the arts in Ukraine, and his humanitarian deeds sheltering those sought out by Nazi persecutors. Efforts are underway to canonize Sheptytsky for his extraordinary deeds.

Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission: Adults $5.00, Children under 12 are free. 

Location: The Ukranian National Museum is located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at 2249 West Superior Street.
