Call for entries: "Tuesdays at the Triangle"


Entertainers in the Polish Triangle

Tuesdays at the Triangle is a new event produced by the Polish Triangle Coalition (PTC) for Tuesday evenings from June thru September in the Polish Triangle at Milwaukee, Division and Ashland Avenues between 6 and 8 p.m. Groups and individuals are invited to sign-up to perform. 

Be it dance, spoken word, poetry, music or performance art, all applicants will be considered. Slots are filling up so sign up today!

The PTC is looking for arts organizations, groups or individuals, who wish to showcase their particular talent or entertainment for one of this summer’s Tuesdays at the Triangle evenings. 

Each Tuesday evening will feature one or more groups or individuals performing during a 1.5 hour time frame between 6 and 8 p.m., weather permitting. 

Two to four food truck vendors will be invited to use the food truck spaces at theTriangle to provide an ever-changing line-up of delicious fare. Local residents will be encouraged to bring folding chairs to sit and enjoy the events. 

To be considered please provide us with the following:

  1. A brief description (1-2 paragraphs) of your proposed presentation.
  2. The estimated length of your presentation.
  3. A list of anything that would be required for you to perform at the triangle.
  4. Two to three Tuesdays that would work best for you in order of your preference.
  5. Your ability to notify your audience, members, parents, etc. of this event through your normal e-mail, twitter, facebook, website. 

PTC will be printing posters to be distributed throughout the neighborhood to restaurants, shops, schools or arts organizations. Fliers will also be available announcing the lineup of events and food truck vendors each week. Social media will be used to outreach to the community and all the information will be available on the PTC website
