Presidents' Day
In 1971 the celebration of Washington's Feb. 21 birthday and Abraham Lincoln's Feb. 12
birthday were put together as Presidents' Day, a Federal holiday. Illinois has wonderful
resources to learn about both presidents. Check out the Chicago History Museum or
journey down to Springfield to visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
That is a museum to be experienced!
