First paper shredding and recycling day for the year on Mar. 13 in Wicker Park and Bucktown

Free paper shredding and recycling schedule for 2010 begins in Wicker Park and Bucktown Sat., Mar. 13, between 10 a.m. and noon, in the Jewel-Osco and KMart parking lot on Ashland Ave. one block north of Division. 

Sponsored by the WPB (SSA #33), this free service is limited to three boxes or bags per person, additional material may be shredded for $5 per box or bag. Document shredding provides freedom from the worry of identity theft while being environmentally sensitive to conservation.

The remainder of the 2010 shredding days will be May 8, July 10, Sept. 11 and Nov. 13 in the Jewel-Osco and KMart lot from 10 a.m. to noon. The service is provided by woman-owned Secure EcoShred, a portable document destruction company.
