No end of F U N at Children's Carnival in Wicker Park Sat., June 18

A collaboration of eighteen organizations is putting on the Wicker Park Advisory Council's Children's Carnival in Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen,  on Sat., June 18, between  11 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Theater performances, films, games, face painting, arts and crafts, and many other activities are part of this free kids event.

 

The schedule of events is:

Outside stage on the west side of the Field House

  • 11:15 - noon    Mad Hatters Children Theater Project from the Junior League of Chicago
  • Noon - 12:15   Gorilla Tango Theater - excerpts from Life During School Time
  • 12:30 - 1:30     Magic Boat Puppet Theater
  • 1:30                 Chicago Yo Yo Club performances

Inside the Field House

  • 11:30 - 3:00    Clamation Films - four short films by Wicker Park After School Art Class

Along Schiller field

  • Carnival Games by Missio dei Chicago
  • Health Train...Jump On Board! - Junior League of Chicago

Inflatables - provided by Mosaic Church and the Chicago Park District
