St. Stanislaus Kostka, 1455 N. Noble St., has a Parish Annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Fair to fund the parish.

Every year for decades and decades, tables with raffle items and vendor tables offered no end of different items. Their Nov. 2 event carried on the tradition of raising money for the Parish.

They have tickets for $.50 for baskets, cash and individual items. The cash raffle has prizes for $1,500 $1,000 and $500.

Tables were covered in items that ranged from an iPad to a TV and bags of groceries. Items donated by parishioners used to bring in much more than they do now, according to Edith Konieczko,

"There used to be a lot more people who came to church and had kids in school."

"We used to hold this for three days, now we do one day," says Natalie Konieczko, who Chairs this event plus the spaghetti dinner event and the Polish dinner event.

The Fair also includes food and homemade breads, cakes and pies. For the last few years, they are able to bring in about $15,000 each year.
