Logan Square Indoor Farmers Market (LSMF) in the Emporium Arcade Bar of Logan Square, 2363 N. Milwaukee Ave., on Sunday between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,has new vibes though they have many of the same products say shoppers and vendors.

Though there is less produce during the winter, there is more than produce to the Sunday experience.

Current produce includes apples, basil, beans, beets, carrots, cooking greens, edible flowers, greenhouse tomatoes, lettuce, micro-greens, mushrooms, onions, parsnips, pears, radishes and shallots and a community table and entertainment continues at the indoor market. But there are pinball machines and other games for all ages in a very large open venue that seems to have a life of its own.

"Nothing compares to the produce at the outdoor location but this is great because there is so much going on," says shopper Julie Kalsow, who lives in Logan Square.

Almond and Olive is one of the groups who have rocked the indoor market

"Outdoor market has more people and it is busier," says longtime LSMF vendor, Melinda of Pecking Order. "In this new indoor location the age range is different. There are a lot more younger people then I've seen before. Maybe that is because of the size of this place or that they are familiar with this place or the games, the bar…it is more of a package for socializing."

The only way to really understand the vibes is to experience them before it closes for the season on Sun., Mar. 25.
