Fresh fruits and vegetables line the tables

Hopes continue to be high at the new Polish Triangle Market. The market is located at the intersection of Ashland, Division, and Milwaukee, conveniently accessible via the Division Blue Line stop.

Although there were not many people in the market when I visited after work, all of the vendors told me that each week's market was generally better. Lori who was manning the Senteamental Moods tent discussed her hope to "bring in more vendors" to the location, which I agreed would help boost traffic to the market.

Matthew

There were a lot of delicious treats to be found at all of the tents, and I stopped to speak with Matthew of Blue Sky Bakery and Café (4749 N Albany), whose tent featured gourmet cupcakes, pies, and even home made granola. Matthew told me, "This is my first week here. Today has been a little slow, but we are thinking it is going to get more popular as the weeks go by." Matthew's hopes were shared by everybody that day, and it appears that with a little word of mouth and maybe additional vendors, the Polish Triangle Market will see even more success in coming weeks.

You can enjoy the Polish Triangle Market every Thursday through September 29th, from 2- 8 p.m.
