Three outdoor farmers markets open in area starting June 5

Chicago's neighborhood Farmers Markets open locally beginning Sun., June 5.  Both Wicker Park and Logan Square are open on Sundays thru Oct. 30. The new Polish Triangle Market Place will be on Thursdays beginning June 30.

The Wicker Park Farmers Market is located in the Park, 1425 N. Damen Ave., at  the corner of Wicker Park and Damen Avenues from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is one of Chicago's Farmers Markets.

Logan Square's market is Independently produced by the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce and is at 3107 W. Logan Blvd. (at Milwaukee Ave.). Their hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The newest offering of local produce and other items is the Polish Triangle Market Place. Organized by the WPB (SSA #33), it will be in the triangle at Ashland, Milwaukee and Division. Intended to be convenient to people coming home from work, this market will be open from 2 to 8 p.m.  If you have not signed up as a vendor but would like to, apply on line.  Applications MUST be in by Fri., June 3, 5 p.m.
