Celebrate! is out and at a location near you

Celebrate! Wicker Park/Bucktown Holiday 2011 began appearing in the area yesterday afternoon, Fri., Dec. 2. Celebrating the area, this 60-page magazine-format, full color, free publication was produced by a collaboration of Chicago-Pipeline's Alisa Hauser and Our Urban Times' Elaine Coorens with the support of many local advertisers.

Stories cover a range of topics from holiday giving, including when Wicker Park began in the 1800s through to the present, a report on the Bloomingdale Trail to a tale about a spying bartender. The history of Margie's Candies, a search for the perfect reuben sandwich and a shopping tour of local businesses owned by siblings gives another perspective of the neighborhood. Real estate views are given too for both the residential and commercial markets. And, of course, there is much more including a calendar of bar specials.

You can pickup your copy at many locations but here is a list, just in case you missed seeing them as you shop in your favorite local places.
