Robert Castillo

Robert Castillo was born and raised in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. He, along with his late husband John Pennycuff, has been active in both the LGBTQ community and Logan Square community for over two decades. 

Currently he is active with Unity Park Advisory Council (UPAC) where he organizes events, secures sponsors and helps with the organization's publicity and social media presence.

Quinn received warm reception throughout 45th Pride Parade

Governor Pat Quinn was on hand for the 45th Annual Chicago PRIDE Parade on June 29, which passed hundreds of thousands of cheering people lining the route starting at Montrose and Broadway and winding its way southeast through Uptown and Lakeview, ending at Diversey and Sheridan.
