"Chicago is a city of neighborhoods" is one of the phrases that captures the essence of the city. One does not need to live in the city very long to understand and appreciate what it means. The real vibrant areas of Chicago are in vastly different neighborhoods such as Wicker Park, Pilsen and Bronzeville. Nearly every area has its own culture, own traditions and brings a special uniqueness that only Chicago can offer.

The city will be facing several major issues, including how to fund the pensions, how to manage the deficit, and how to deliver basic services every taxpayer deserves and expects. As a result the impact of these problems services in every ward will be effected. Everyone is looking to come up with some type of innovative solution.

Technology can be a wonderful tool. Over the last decade, advances in communication technology have enabled us to send messages across enormous distances instantly, stay informed on the latest breaking news, post our thoughts on personal blogs and share pictures and videos with friends and family all over the world.  Websites like MySpace, Twitter and Facebook have led to the development of online communities that can exchange information at any time of day, regardless of physical location.  As long as you have a computer and Internet access, you can remain constantly connected.
