Community Alert: Criminal Sexual Assault in the 14th Police District

04/05/2013 A female juvenile victim was walking on the 1600 block of N. Hermitage at 9:15 p.m. on Apr. 2. An unknown black offender forced her into the backseat of his vehicle and sexually assaulted her.
Offenders description:
The offender was black wearing a black ski mask that only displays the eyes and mouth of the offender.
He was last seen driving a square body 4-door SUV, possibly a Jeep, unknown color or model, with leather interior.
What you can do:
- If possible, do not travel alone on the public way, stand alone at bus stops, or other public areas
- Be alert for strangers or suspicious vehicles
- Be aware of your surroundings and do not wear headphones
- If you notice any suspicious activity, call 911 immediately
