Bite into Bucktown tasteful success for BCO
Bucktown Community Organization's (BCO) Bite into Bucktown drew 70 plus participants in the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library, 1701 N. Milwaukee, Wednesday evening, May 15.
Taste buds were tempted by offerings from 5 local vendors as attendees sampled and socialized around the second floor room. The vendors were Art of Chicken, Babylon, Club Lucky, David’s Tea, Jane’s, O’Cha, Oh That Cake!, Pinch Spice Market and Sterling Goss.
Pleased with their successful evening, BCO President Steve Jensen said, "Our goal, as the BCO Board, is to revitalize the fabric of our neighborhood thru regular and social events. We hope that our members and neighbors find value not only in our organization but find value in their engaged lives in Bucktown. An engaged community where our neighbors know each other provides value and safety."
Proof that they are on the road to their goal is that they are increasing their membership roster weekly with four new members.
