Rebecca George

Rebecca was raised in Barrington, and moved to the area after college in '02.  She is a former Chicago teacher with an MA in Teaching, and most recently she received her MFA in Writing from Naropa University in Boulder, CO.  She is the founder of TheLinchpin.org and currently works in publishing.  She is passionate about living green, and hopes to show Chicagoans the way towards us all being more conscious of the environment.

Small Bar takes big steps toward going green

It is difficult to be green in a city as large as Chicago.  It is, in fact, difficult to think green in a city this size, when we are surrounded by the exhaust of countless cars, the growling of dumpster trucks on every corner and the fragments of garbage that blow through the alleyways from the unyielding winter wind.
