Milwaukee-Wood-Wolcott intersection in Wicker Park: No action update

Milwaukee-Wood-Wolcott devoid of construction activity

Construction at the intersection of Milwaukee-Wood-Wolcott still has no start date, according to Rodolfo DeJesus from 1st Ward Alderman Proco "Joe" Moreno's office.

Though Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has right-of-way permits for the public way construction, they do not have a Dig Number.

CDOT's Office of Underground Coordination (OUC) gives those numbers. OUC is responsible for all underground construction requests that can affect existing utility installations including water, telecommunications, gas and electric.

CDOT's initial estimate for completion, once started, is around 20 days or three to four weeks, or so.

When begun, everyone is asked to be patient with any disruption of traffic and noise.
