Journey into Paradise Exhibit by artists Volodymyr Podlevsky and Svitlana Moiseieva closes today, Nov. 27, in the Ukrainian National Museum (UNM), 2249 West Superior St.

Classically trained in Ukraine, this husband and wife team have different styles and techniques but their joy of life, nuances of Ukrainian culture and beauty is individually captured in their works.

UNM is located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village

Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Admission: Adults $5.00, Children under 12 - Free.

THE ORIGINAL IMAGE OF DIVINE MERCY, a Documentary film by director Daniel diSilva with special guest Gintaras Grusas, Archbishop of Vilnius, Lithuania. The film features key witnesses to the mysterious case of the painting that survived the Soviet occupation of Vilnius, with exclusive commentary by various religious experts, including a special footage with Pope Francis.

This weeks Tuesdays at the Triangle features the Micheal Melis Trio from Detroit, MI and locally based trumpeter Chris Lawrence.

The event is a the Polish Triangle which is located  at the intersections of Milwaukee, Division and Ashland.

The event is free and is on Jul. 14th from 6 to 8 p.m.

If you haven't seen the exhibit "Apostle of Peace" yet, August 20th is your last opportunity. The exhibit celebrates the 150th anniversary of Metropolitan (Archbishop) Andrey Sheptytsky's birth.

It honors Sheptytsky's contributions to the Roman Catholic and Ukrainian Greek Catholic Churches, his philanthropic accomplishments for youth and the arts in Ukraine, and his humanitarian deeds sheltering those sought out by Nazi persecutors. Efforts are underway to canonize Sheptytsky for his extraordinary deeds.
