Blue Line service changes through November 22

Construction at the Illinois Medical District Station on the Chicago Transit Authority's (CTA) Blue Line may cause service delays through Nov. 22, according to a CTA advisory. Thus, allow for extra travel time.

Boarding changes between Western (Forest Park branch

From 10 p.m., Mon., Nov. 20 to 4 a.m., Tues. Nov. 21

Board and exit trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Illinois Medical Destrict and Racine stations. Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Western (Forest Park branch) and UIC-Halsted.

Boarding changes between UIC-Halsted and Western (Forest Park branch) 

From 10 p.m., Tues., Nov. 21 to 4 a.m., Wed., Nov. 22

Board and exit trains on the O'Hare-bound side of the platform at the Racine and Illinois Medical District stations. Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between UIC-Halsted and Western (Forest Park branch).
