Forest Park bound Blue Line trains will not stop at the Chicago Ave. overnight Mon., July 13, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tues., July 14, according to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).

Alternative use of the Chicago Ave. Station:

  • Use the Grand or Damen Avenue station where Blue Line trains going in both directions will stop
  • From Chicago, board an O’Hare-bound train to Division and transfer to a Forest Park-bound train
  • To Chicago, stay on a Forest Park-bound train to Grand and transfer to an O’Hare-bound train.
The CTA suggests passengers allow for extra travel time.

This service interruption is because of station construction aimed at improving the Chicago station. It is part of the Your New Blue modernization program.
