Donate to Intuit's Closet Clearance and you shall receive...

From fur coats to wispy tops, "the closet" is always interesting

Those who donate items to Intuit's 4th Annual Closet Clearance Sale, 756 N. Milwaukee Ave., they will receive a free ticket to the VIP First Dibs event on Apr. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Donors are requested to deliver clothing on hangers, only clean clothes in wearable condition will be accepted. Items may be dropped off from Tuesdays through Saturdays, between now and  11 a.m. and 6 p.m., through Apr. 19.

All proceeds from the sale benefit Intuit and unsold items will be donated to various charities.

A treasure trove of new and gently used women's clothing, shoes, jewelry, hats, scarves, purses and accessories, this event is Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art's fund-raiser that never disappoints shoppers. The Closet Clearance will be open to the public on Apr. 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

The early bird catches the best deals on Friday and Saturday. The slow birds garner the really big deals. For those who want to take a chance of missing the crème de la crème, all items are 50% off from noon until 2 p.m. on Sun., Apr. 28.
