1st Ward Office

Focused on increasing access to the services his office provides, Moreno has taken steps to realize this goal. Moving Ward Night to Tuesdays will give constituents access to the Ward office every week, avoiding missing Ward Nights due to Monday holidays. In addition, he has launched a Satellite Office initiative. On Saturdays in the Summer and Fall, Moreno's office will rotate throughout the ward in parks, grocery stores, and other high traffic areas so residents can access the office services without having to make a special trip to the ward office.

Targeting another ward wide problem, Moreno has created a graffiti removal initiative which he is funding. Volunteers are using supplies provided by the Alderman to combat graffiti placed by those who seek to damage property in the Ward. This initiative is meant to compliment the work of the Graffiti Blasters City-Wide program.

As a Local School Council member, Social Service Board Member, and business manager, Moreno feels that his experience in community activism and business is the right type of leadership for the 1st Ward. He is committed to environmentally sound development, community- based solutions, and public safety.
