Mark Yee shares joy of moving from the business to the art world
"I wanted to share something that makes me happy and gives me joy," says Mark Yee who exhibited some of his paintings on his Hoyne Ave. front steps in Wicker Park on one of the early Spring warm days.
Seven years ago, he included others in an exhibit at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library, 1701 N Milwaukee Ave. Since then, he has had other exhibits of his work.
"My artwork is an outward expression of my creativity and during these times, we all need a little joy and inspiration," says Yee.
It was an art class that set him on a path to leave the world of business and plunge into the world of art. "I encourage all Chicagoans to reach for your dreams! It can happen!"
Perhaps this COVID-19 sequestration may be an opportunity for others to find new career path. Let us know!
