Merging Halloween and Valentine's or something more sinister?

At first glance this Humboldt Park Valentine's "decoration" appears to convey some possible confusion about what holiday it is.

On the other hand…

Was there or is there a messy divorce behind this female cupid's arrow slinging? Or, is the message a warning?

What could that warning be?

"Better not do me wrong, dude!" or "Told you that you shouldn't do me wrong."

"Love hurts," or "We have no future together," or "You have no future!"

What do you think?
