"It is a chance for people to recognize the value of artists in our community," says gallery owner and artist Iwona Biedermann.

Piotr Antonow, Ala Jaron, Boruch Lev, Irena Siwek and Tom Robinson join Biedermann in this exhibition.

A fantasy by Irena Siwek

With clay as his medium, Boruch Lev's work includes "Egg of Knowledge."

Tom Robinson has "Covering the Masters Series," is his journey into masterpieces of Edgar Degs, Henri Matisse, Edward Hopper, John Singer Sargent and others.

Irena Siwek's work is described as "exhibiting attributes of whimsy abstract expressionism, surrealism and fantasy," by Biedermann.

And of Piotr Antonow's work, she explains that his paintings "combine the elements of abstraction with realistic representation. His compositions allow the lines, colors, and shapes to come together to define the realistic details of the form, that brings into view a degree of the inner world and the individuality of a subject."

"Meditating under the Himalayan Birch Tree" by Iwona Biedermann

Biedermann likens her artistry with the camera to a quote from Mehmet Murat ildan. "Anything you see, anything you know or anything you shall see, anything you shall know will remain only for a while!”

WOW is an "Alternative Creative Community" west of Wicker Park.
