Happy new parents with baby Zulema
Zulema Ruiz at eight pounds, three ounces was the first baby born in 2019 in Norwegian American Hospital, 1044 N. Francisco Ave.
She greeted the world Jan. 1 at 1:57 a.m.
This the first baby for mom, Monica Guijosa, and dad, Alvaro Ruiz. The new family lives in the Humboldt Park area.
