First monthly Wicker Park Farmers Indoor Market for 2020

The market faces North Ave.

Tamales Express is a familiar sight in the neighborhood

If you missed the first Wicker Park Farmers Indoor Market in the Robey Hall, 2011 W. North Ave., in December, you don't want to miss the second monthly market, tomorrow, Sat., Jan. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., put on by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.

The vendors are outstanding, including those offering prepared foods! In fact, a new Filipino vendor is attending for the first time. Pig and Fire will be coming from Oak Park to tempt the palates of those who want to eat onsite. And, of course, Tamales Express will be offering their faire as well.

Produce will be available

Two produce vendors will be on hand too. They are Jacobson Family Farm and Avrom Farm.

Market Manger Alice Howe commented that John Bailey Honey has more than honey products. "They have other jams and jellies that would be wonderful on La Boulangrie bread!"

While not all vendors attend every market, here is the complete vendor list for the season.

At the first market of the season in December, the new Robey Hall seemed the perfect space for the once a month Saturday indoor market. It was pleasantly jammed with things that appealed to the shoppers who jammed into the glass fronted space just west of the Robey Hotel's entrance.

Open for business the first Saturday of each month through April, The Robey also has a service bar for beverages.
