Health Alert: Chicken noodle soup is misbranded not revealing allergen

With 34,200 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken noodle soup products sold by Kenosha, WI, based RCK Foods, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issues a public health alert because the product contains egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

Produced on Mar. 11, 2020, it is believed that products may not be on store shelves but may be in consumer's refrigerators.

The containers are 15-oz. plastic cups with a best by date 6/9/2020 and lot code 425798031120. The USDA mark of inspection number “P-33997” is inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to locations nationwide.
