Martin Luther King Day and the Presidential Inauguration Day will occur on Monday

In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, all Chicago Public Libraries will be closed Mon., Jan. 21. This includes the Harold Washington Library Center, Woodson Regional and Sulzer Regional Libraries.

This will be the second time that this holiday has coincided with the Inauguration Day of the President.

Though the actual presidential inauguration will be on Sun., Jan. 20, at noon, as stipulated by law, the public swearing in and other celebrations will be celebrated on Jan. 21.
