No passport required Tuesday at the Polish Triangle

Island sounds come to Tuesdays at the Triangle on May 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. "No passport is needed at the Polish Triangle," says Kent Arnsbarger, percussionist/steel drummer, who will be playing a distinctive beat on his steel pan on the triangle formed by Milwaukee, Division and Ashland.

"Constantly growing, changing, evolving, I have more than 25 years experience as a professional performer and I'm bringing it all that to the Triangle," says Arnsbarger.

Everyone is invited to chill for two hours of this free entertainment event produced by the Polish Triangle Coalition. This performer is being sponsored by SSA #33

Since the opening of the 14-week series was rained out on May 23, the Coalition is hoping Mother Nature will be kinder this week and encourage everyone to stop by. Bring a picnic, if you like, and your lounge chair too!

In its fifth year, this series' booking is the best so far, with a mix of professional and community performers scheduled through Aug. 29.
