At its new time 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesdays at the Triangle enlivens the Milwaukee, Ashland and Division transportation hub with a mix of talent for the next 13 Tuesdays. Zebec with on guitar brings the "combined elements of traditional jazz along with avant garde music, which they interweave seamlessly" next Tuesday, June 7.

"We are thrilled that so many previous and new people are taking timeout to sit or stand and enjoy the many different performers that the Polish Triangle Coalition* [PTC] is bringing to the Triangle for the fourth year," said Mieko Joy Yoshida, PTC President.

This year kicked off on May 17 with Cimbalovka Moravska, part of the Old Town School of Folk Music's 77 Beats. Local food vendor Cevapcici's Serbian faire helped warm some on a cool windy evening. But eating or not, toe-tapping music lovers were moving to the enticing beat of the season's first performers.

Bringing a smile to everyone's face, and beams of pride from many Near North Montessori School parents approximately 20 students performed. With a full range of band instruments, band members were beginners with a few intermediate students.

There were also two violinists and one flutist and a troupe of dancers who delighted the crowd.

Part of "enlivening" the space is to provide a place for individual as well as group activity. That activity can be physical action or not.
