Comradery develops as cleanup is achieved in the 32nd Ward
Christine Jensen heads up the clean-up efforts in Alderman Scott Waguespack's 32nd Ward. In just the last month, she and teams of workers have cleaned up and brightened up a small park by a day care center and planted bushes by the Bucktown & Wicker Park Library. Begun in 2002 as the brainchild of then 43rd Ward Alderman Vi Daley, the Lakefront Sculpture Exhibit (LSE) included 8 pieces selected from 50 submissions. With more than 70 submissions for the 2012 event, 30 were chosen. Five will be located throughout the WPB (SSA#33) area. |
Chicago Artists: get archived during one of three WBEZ intake sessions
