The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) warns Blue Line riders that travel this weekend may cause some delays as they work on the Your New Blue modernization program.

Work is to improve signals, allowing trains to operate more efficiently.

For riders going to and from O'Hare from July 24, Fri., at 10 p.m.to 4 a.m., July 27, Mon., a train shuttle will operated between O'Hare and Rosemont.

Riders using the shuttle will have to transfer trains at Rosemont.

To continue trips through Rosemont to/from O’Hare, transfer across the platform:

  • From Rosemont to O’Hare, riders are to board a shuttle train on the O’Hare-bound side of  the platform
  • For service from Rosemont toward downtown and Forest Park, riders board a departing train on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform.
