Not only has the overnight looting downtown restricted the Chicago Transit Authority's (CTA) Blue Line service beyond Division St. tonight but debris is stopping service short of O'Hare.

As part of the strategies to address potential looting tonight, Blue Line service will operate in two sections between between 8 p.m., Aug. 10, Mon., to 6 a.m. Aug. 11, Tues. This is part of a CTA system wide shutdown of service in the Loop tonight.

One section is from Division to Rosemont and the second is from UIC-Halsted and Forest Park.

The section between Rosemont and O'Hare is suspended as of approximately 5 p.m. this evening because of debris on the track. Resumption of service is unknown.
