The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) warns of two bus route changes. One is permanent, the other temporary.

The westbound #72 North Ave. bus stop has been permanently relocated from the northeast corner of North and Oakley to the northwest corner of North and Oakley.

According to the CTA, this change is due to streetscaping the stop and to improving the reliability of service.

The #65 Grand Ave. bus will be temporarily rerouted from thru 4 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 10, because there will be crane operations on Grand between Ashland and Paulina.

The bus route will operate via Grand, Wood, Hubbard and Ashland, then resume its normal route on Grand.
