The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) notifies riders of service changes over the weekend that may affect their travels.

Service changes on both bus and rail lines may cause delays so the CTA advices riders to allow extra travel time.

Temporary rerouting of the #73 Armitage Temporary Reroute

On Sat., Nov. 14, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. or completion
Buses will operate in both directions via Armitage, California, Fullerton, Western and Armitage.

This rerouting is due to filming on Armitage between Milwaukee and Rockwell.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Montrose and Harlem (O’Hare branch)

From Fri., Nov 13 at 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Mon. Nov. 16
Board and exit all trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Jefferson Park station.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Montrose and Harlem (O’Hare branch), resulting in minor delays.

These delays are due to improvements that allow trains to operate more efficiently along the Blue Line. It is part of the Your New Blue modernization program.
