The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is giving a heads up for Forest Park-bound trains at the Grand Ave. Station, changes between Belmont and California, #56 bus and system wide Thanksgiving holiday service.

These changes may cause delays. Riders should plan their trips with that information in mind, allowing for extra travel time.

Boarding changes between Belmont and California - Nov. 25 – 27

From Mon., Nov. 25, through Wed., Nov. 27,
Nightly from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. next day

Board and exit all trains on the O’Hare-bound side of the platform at the Logan Square station.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Belmont and California.

Forest Park-bound trains will bypass Grand Ave. Station - Nov. 25 - 27

From 4 a.m. on Mon., Nov. 25,  through 4 a.m., Wed., Nov. 27,
From 8 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27,  through 4 a.m., Thurs., Nov. 28,

Forest Park-bound trains will not stop at Grand Ave. Station.

    • For Forest Park-bound service from Grand, take a O’Hare-bound train to Chicago and transfer to a Forest Park-bound train.
    • For Forest Park-bound service to Grand, take a Forest Park-bound train to Clark/Lake and transfer to a O’Hare-bound train.

Consider using the adjacent Blue Line stations at Clark/Lake or Chicago, where trains in both directions will continue to stop.

#56 Milwaukee buses connect with both stations, where Blue Line trains will stop in both directions and also run through the Loop (via Loop Link).
