Two more Blue Line service changes


The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) advises riders to allow more time going to O'Hare and for entrance changes at Chicago Ave. 

Bus substitution between O'Hare and Rosemont stations
To 4 a.m., Mon., Oct. 7

Shuttle buses will replace rail service between O'Hare and Rosemont and the CTA is advising to add 20 to 30 extra minutes for this change.

The reason for this change is for signal improvements to allow more efficient train operations as well as for along the Your New Blue modernization program.



Chicago Station island entrance stairway temporarily closed
From 5 a.m., Mon., Sept. 30 until further notice 

The island street-to-mezzanine entrance stairway at the Chicago Blue Line station, at the intersection of Chicago, Milwaukee and Ogden Avenues, will be temporarily closed. 

Enter and exit the station via the remaining stairways, on the southwest corner of Chicago and Milwaukee Avenues and on the north side of Chicago between Milwaukee and Ogden Avenues.

For your safety, only cross streets at crosswalks.
