One of two car hijackings in Wicker Park on Sat., Jan. 16, was at gunpoint but no one was injured.

At 1:28 p.m., a 30 year-old woman was in her 2016 Audi in the alley behind the CVS Pharmacy at Ashland and Division.

According to the Chicago Police Department, she was approached by two black males who forced her out of her vehicle at gunpoint. The offenders then fled with her car.

In the evening at 7:05 p.m. in the 1400 block of N. Leavitt, a 50 Year-old black Lyft driver was responding to a call for service at LeMoyne St.

Two black male passengers got into his 2021 BMW X3. As the driver headed southbound on Leavitt, one of the passengers placed an object to the victims head and ordered him out of the vehicle.

Detectives are investigating but no one is in custody.
